Dr. Dabney has been practicing veterinary medicine in Jackson, Tennessee for more than eight years and is best known for her unwavering commitment to the highest standard of care.

A proud graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Dairy Science and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Dabney has devoted her skills to the health and well-being of animals. Driven by a profound passion for preventive medicine, feline health, and pain management, Dr. Dabney’s career embodies a lifelong dream fulfilled through unwavering dedication and genuine love for her work as a veterinarian. Her commitment extends beyond professional expertise, emphasizing the importance of the bond between pets and their owners. She believes that fostering stronger connections with pets enhances their well-being, she strives to infuse more love and care into her veterinary practice, making it a place where both pets and their owners feel valued and understood.

Dr. Dabney and her husband, William, share two sons, Thompson and Tavis.

Meet Emily! Emily is a licensed veterinary medical technician and our head technician. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences with a concentration in Veterinary Technology in August of 2022. Shortly after, Emily passed her national exam and became a licensed veterinary nurse. Emily’s favorite parts of veterinary medicine are client education and surgery/anesthesia! She is passionate about being the best advocate for her patients and making a positive difference not only to the patients but to their owners. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her daughter, listening to Taylor Swift, and snuggling with her dog Stella!

This is LaQueena! She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2023 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science, with a concentration in Veterinary Health Technology. LaQueena is passionate about the care and health of her patients. Her commitment to giving her patients the best care is the fuel for her ambition. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, spending time with her chihuahua named Chico, studying her Bible, and going out to eat!

Meet Taylor! She has been a veterinary assistant for 3 years and has worked alongside Dr. Dabney for 2. She prides herself on providing comfort to pets and their families while delivering exceptional customer service. Taylor’s favorite parts of her job include client relationships, anesthesia, and performing blood draws. In her free time she likes to spend time on her farm riding horses, playing with her goats, cuddling with her 2 dogs, Bo and Bonnie, or spending time at the river with my family.

This is Jennifer! Jennifer started working in veterinary medicine in 1998. She worked alongside Dr. Dabney for 3 years, before taking a break to work in ophthalmology. Jennifer married her highschool sweetheart and they had 1 child, Dylan. She has 3 dogs- Josie, Tito , and Ziggy. Jennifer also has a granddog named Roper. Jennifer is excited to be back in veterinary medicine and doing what she loves. She is our receptionist, and we are so excited to have a familiar face back in veterinary medicine! 

Meet Chloe! Chloe graduated with Honors from the University of Tennessee at Martin in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. Chloe is still a student at UT Martin finishing up a degree in Veterinary Technology. She will be applying for veterinary school in the fall. Chloe’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is working with emergency cases. She loves to learn and grow with each patient to help her with her future of becoming a veterinarian. Outside work, Chloe enjoys reading books, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family!
